I felt honoured to heartily welcome you to the  Institute of Peace, Security and Governance. This is an Institute that fosters future scientists with fundamental academic skills in theory, practice and the zeal to contribute to the advancement of our society and mankind in general. In the Institute of Peace Security and Governance, we encourage our students to focus on academic excellence as well as produce well-rounded academic resourceful individuals who would be able to build and sustain healthy relationships with peers, employers and the wider community. We also desire that our students become deep thinkers who are capable of profounding solutions to societal problems.

The Institute have series of programmes which cut across governance, conflict, peace, human security and development studies. We also encourage academic collaborations with various faculties and students to allow more potent exchange of knowledge through our monthly academic paper presentations. Our staff are friendly, committed and capable academic and administrative personnel.

I therefore use this medium to encourage all members of the public to take advantage of our various programmes in the Institute in developing their skills on the job and also acquire more relevant knowledge in various vocations.
